Using a Price Book

In my research into saving money at the grocery store, one idea that pops up is using a price book.  In essence, a price book is a system used to track grocery prices.  This helps you determine if you are getting a good deal or not and to know if you should hold out for a better price.  There are many ways to do this and I’ve compiled some resources to help you check out this idea.  Personally, I’m trying to use a spreadsheet that I made–not too successful yet.  That’s why I need to do the research, I want to make it work for me!  Please leave a comment if you have a method that works for you!

I think this is a great idea. We were having problems with this, trying to remember how much things cost at a different store. I didn’t like some of the choices where you have to record one item per page, too many pages for me!

The other day we knew TP was on sale at Kroger, but we usually buy it at Sam’s, so my hubby went to Sams after dropping me off at Kroger to check the price. I suppose this is too much work and we need to find a better choice! (P.S. It was cheaper to buy the TP at Sam’s that time!)
